Acorus for dampness, mold, and spiritual clarity
By Karen Ko
The ancient Shu people collected Chang Pu (Acorus calamus, or sweet flag), boiled it in water to drink or made it into an ointment for external application. This was used to dispel dampness, stimulate appetite, open up the senses, and clear phlegm. This is why it is featured in Microgard plus, Tibetan Footsoaks, and Acorus incense.
