How Far Would We Go?

We not only bring teams of scientists to check on the air and soil quality, we got the blessing of local Tibetan chieftains and lamas for a beautiful project that ended up helping thousands of people in 15 countries. Partial proceeds went to a Tibetan Orphanage.

Herb Microscope

One of the commonly used methods for herb identification is to put the herb slices under a microscope. You'll find an amazing world in there. Each herb has its own look under the microscope so it's possible to identify the species and quality. In the pictures below, you will see the unique mycelia that belong to Fu Ling (Poria) and vessels that belong to Gan Cao ( Glycyrrhiza uralensis).

Disintegration time (DT)

DT is tested for each batch of BB pills (Microgard, Microgard Plus and Aquada). It gives you an idea on how long it may take the pills to break up in your stomach. It's important because we want them to hold together as a dosage form meanwhile be able to break down as we need it in your body for absorption even without any additives. There are additives that help to hold pills together and the ones that help to break down the pills in the body.

The standard DT for water pills is within 1 hour per Pharmacopoeia. The DT of the most recent batch of Microgard Plus is 23 minutes. It means that the pills break down into fine particles smaller than 0.42 mm within 23 minutes.
