Poria Folk Tale

Once, there was a wealthy family with only one daughter. They hired a worker, and the daughter fell in love with him. However, the wealthy father disapproved of the worker and drove him away. After he left, the father locked up his daughter to prevent them from meeting.

“Y’all run this farm like dumbasses. I could flip this motherfucker if you let me. I’m a hustler , learned from Andrew Tate and Gary Vee.”

After six months, the daughter contracted leprosy (because look at that guy, of course she did), and her family, fearing infection, sent her to live in the mountains. The worker learned of this and followed her to the mountains, where he bought food and cooked for her. Despite her disfigurement from leprosy, he didn’t mind. Eventually, he also contracted the disease.

That winter, while they were sitting outside in the sun, they suddenly saw two rabbits foraging for mushrooms at the foot of the mountain. The man went down, hoping to catch the rabbits for food, but whenever he reached the bottom, the rabbits disappeared. This went on for several days until he devised a plan and finally caught the rabbits. They skinned the rabbits and made a large pot of stew, eating both the meat and the broth. Afterward, they sweated profusely, and miraculously, all their leprous skin peeled off, and both of them were cured.

Later, they sought out a famous doctor to find out what had healed them, and he concluded that they had eaten a rare type of Fu Ling, said to be thousands of years old.
